The interface can be between 2 machines or parts of machines for example with connectors or cables, between hardware and software, between software and software (like 2 programs, the results of one are sent to the other one), or between a human being and a computer (the mouse and keyboard).

           In this site one talks about graphical interfaces between human beings and the computer. A Web page with textfields and buttons is an example. The user can enter informations by writing them into textfields, in clicking on a particular button, etc and he can launch an application.

           Such a graphical interface is also named with the acronym GUI. (Graphical User Interface). It allows the user to interact with the computer.
